Cookie Policy

Necessary sessions, device storage and offline caches used by Closet.

Effective: October 5, 2026 · Last updated: October 5, 2026

1. Necessary authentication

Closet uses browser session storage mechanisms provided by its authentication client to keep you signed in and authorize requests. Hosted authentication or payment services may also use necessary cookies. Blocking these mechanisms can prevent sign-in or checkout.

2. Preferences and offline storage

IndexedDB stores successful query results, cached photo blobs and pending changes for supported offline use. Local browser storage keeps authentication information. In the published app, a service worker can cache visited pages and fonts. The offline query cache is configured for up to 30 days; photos and unsynced operations may remain longer until cleared, synced or discarded.

3. Analytics and third parties

Closet records account activity and aggregate usage in its backend. Its application code does not include advertising-cookie or marketing-tracker integrations. Lovable infrastructure may collect operational telemetry, and Stripe’s embedded checkout can use storage needed for payment, fraud prevention and its own service functionality. Those providers govern their own storage.

4. Your controls

Use your browser’s site-data and cookie settings to inspect, block or clear storage for Closet. Signing out clears in-memory account data and cached cloud photo blobs, but pending local photos can remain to protect unsynced work. Clearing all site data removes local copies and may permanently discard unsynced changes. Sync or copy important content first.

5. Privacy preferences

There is no separate advertising-cookie preference switch because the app does not implement optional advertising tracking. Your browser settings control local storage; account notification preferences are in Settings. Use Contact Closet for questions or Privacy Requests for personal-data requests.
